Lake Bindegolly National Park Lake Bindegolly National Park

Lake Bindegolly National Park is located approximately 34km east of Thargomindah and due to the fragile
nature of the area access is only on foot.

The park features three lakes - the saline Lakes Bindegolly and Toomaroo and the freshwater Lake Hutchinson.

The lake system has a diverse range of animals and is an important feeding and breeding habitat for waterbirds, over 60 species. A 9.2km walking circuit skirts the edge of Lake Bindegolly.
